David Argenti is originally from Long Island, New York, and now proudly calls Broward County, Florida, home. He has built a life centered on dedication, service, and making a difference in both his community and country. After graduating from Cooper City High School in 1985, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Troy University in 2024, with concentrations in Political Science, Social Science, and Criminal Justice.
A proud U.S. Army Reserves veteran, his military service helped shape a strong sense of duty and discipline. With a 37-year career at the Broward Sheriff’s Office, including six years as a task force officer with the FBI, he worked diligently to combat crime and ensure the safety of South Florida.
David is also a devoted father to two creative and talented adult daughters, Emily and Savannah, and shares his life with Blue, a beloved rescue French Bulldog. In his free time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, cooking (especially Italian and Cajun dishes), attending concerts and sporting events, and, above all, playing golf.
His commitment to service extends beyond his professional career. As the Chairman of the Board for the James Club Foundation, David actively works to support individuals struggling with addiction. His personal motto, “One Day at a Time,” reflects his belief in perseverance, the power of positive recovery, and, most of all, second chances.
Through his career, family, and community involvement, David strives to leave a legacy of honor, dedication, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.
