David Argenti is originally from Long Island, New York, and now proudly calls Broward County, Florida, home. He has built a life centered on dedication, service, and making a difference in the community and country. After graduating from Cooper City High School in 1985, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Troy University in 2024, with concentrations in Political Science, Social Science, and Criminal Justice.

Glenn Roderman, Vice Chairman, Former Broward County Municipal Judge- James Club Recovery Foundation Board
Glenn R. Roderman, a South Florida resident for decades, earned his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University in 1972 and has over 50 years of experience in Florida’s criminal justice system. He has served as a state prosecutor, municipal judge, mentor to attorneys, and legal analyst for ABC News Channel 10 in Miami. Mr. Roderman emphasizes that both experience and education are essential for effective legal representation, a principle he shares in his Spoken Law series.

Andrea Gundersen, Former Broward County Circuit Judge
Andrea Ruth Gundersen, originally from Massachusetts, moved to South Florida in 1989 to attend law school and earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova University in 1992. A seasoned attorney with over 30 years of experience, she served as a Broward County Circuit Court Judge from 2017 to 2023, launching the Collaborative Law Pilot Project to resolve family disputes amicably. She has held leadership roles in bar associations and earned recognition as a Florida Super Lawyer and Legal Elite.

Barbara McCarthy, Retired Broward County Circuit Judge
Barbara McCarthy, a retired Broward County Circuit Court Judge, brings extensive experience as a mediator, Magistrate, social worker, and educator. With over 10 years on the bench and 7 years as a Civil Magistrate, she has presided over thousands of cases, including 750 jury trials, and now assists in resolving disputes as a certified mediator, Special Master, and Arbitrator. A former special education teacher and social worker, Barbara combines her legal expertise and compassionate approach to foster effective mediation.

Bruce Raticoff is a seasoned criminal defense attorney with over 45 years of experience. A 1979 graduate of Loyola University New Orleans, he has built an extensive career specializing in first-degree murder defense. With a remarkable track record of over 500 jury trials, Raticoff has earned a reputation as a tenacious advocate for his clients. Don Wright is an American professional golfer known for his perseverance and dedication. Raised in Binghamton, New York, he developed a passion for golf at age 11. He earned a golf scholarship to Texas Southern University, where he won three collegiate events and was a two-time All-American. Turning professional in 1996, Wright competed on various mini-tours, showcasing his talent and determination in the sport.

Eric T. Schwartzreich is a seasoned criminal defense attorney based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with nearly 25 years of experience handling adult and juvenile cases in both state and federal courts. Born in Westchester County, New York, and raised in Rye Brook, he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Muskingum University, an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. Gerard Williams is a Board-Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer with over 30 years of legal experience. He was a prosecutor in the Broward State Attorney’s Office from 1991 through 2001. He has been in private practice since 2003. His focus is on major crimes and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court to sit as first chair in death penalty homicides. He has tried over 250 cases before a jury.

John Murphy, Former Broward County Circuit Judge
John J. Murphy III served as a Broward County Circuit Court Judge from 2003 to 2024, handling complex civil and criminal cases. Before his judicial career, he practiced law for 25 years and was a Broward County Assistant State Attorney. He earned his law degree from Stetson University and his undergraduate degree from Villanova University. After retiring, he became a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator. In 2023, he gained attention for dismissing charges in the Hollywood Hills nursing home deaths case.

Josiah Graham specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, negligent security, and wrongful death, securing numerous multi-million-dollar settlements, including over $8 million in wrongful death cases in 2021. Recognized for his victories in high-profile cases, he has been featured in the media, including the Daily Business Review and TMZ, for his advocacy and dedication. A Fort Lauderdale native and incoming President of the Florida Justice Association Young Lawyers Section, Josiah continues to fight for justice on behalf of injury victims and their families.

Kathy Hurt has dedicated over 45 years to making a difference in her community, beginning her career in the Broward County Court Administration System and later working in juvenile justice. Her journey took her from law enforcement to broadcasting, earning accolades as an on-air spokesperson and journalist. A personal tragedy—losing her sister to alcoholism—shifted her focus to addiction recovery, leading her to spearhead fundraising and awareness efforts for the Hanley Family Foundation. Now serving as Vice President of Community Impact for Scandia Wellness Systems, Kathy continues her mission to support those affected by addiction through education, advocacy, and community partnerships.

Kevin S. McGill, a trial attorney and co-founder of GMV Law Group, specializes in personal injury and criminal defense. A University of Miami Law graduate, he gained early experience as an intern for Judge Diane V. Ward and as a certified legal intern at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, trying numerous misdemeanor and felony cases. Mia Spath is a seasoned Bail Agent, Executive Officer, and Managing General Agent at Brandy Bail Bonds, a family-owned business that has been serving the community for over 40 years. With more than 20 years of experience in the bail bond industry, Mia is passionate about helping those in need. In addition to her role at Brandy Bail Bonds, she serves as a Certified Bail Instructor and has held various leadership positions within the Florida Bail Agents Association (FBAA), including Board Secretary in 2016.

Michael Gottlieb, a criminal defense attorney from Davie, Florida, holds a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and a B.A. from George Washington University. He is actively involved in charitable work with organizations like the MS Society, Debbie’s Dream Foundation, and the Jewish Federation.

Michael Julian, Esq., Partner at Johnson Dalal, focuses on probate, trust, and guardianship litigation, including fraud, fiduciary breaches, and elder exploitation. Raymond M. Powell, a lifelong Akron resident, graduated with honors from the University of Akron School of Law in 1991. With over 25 years of experience, he specializes in civil law, including business, probate, real estate, and workers’ compensation. Outside of work, he has taught real estate law, served on charity boards, and enjoys family time and sports.

Rhonda Hollander, Esq., a Nova Law School graduate, founded her own firm in 1994 after gaining extensive experience in litigation and collections at firms like Haley, Sinagra and Perez, and Kaye & Roger. Known for her success in cases such as a jury trial victory against a national pest control company, she now represents clients in state and federal courts and mediations, focusing on litigation and legal protection. Actively involved in teaching and professional organizations, she has chaired the Alternate Dispute Resolution division of the Broward County Bar Association and contributed to various legal boards.

Roger DeHart inherited his advocacy spirit from his father. His dad was big on mentorship and bringing people from different walks of life together. In 1977, he started the first Men of Tomorrow Program, in which thriving students received scholarships from major corporations.
After college, in Roger’s early twenties, he began mentoring young men, especially those without a father figure. It is then he realized the compassion he has for single moms. Soon after, Roger began a career with the Broward Sheriff’s Office as a Court Deputy. He recognized that there was a need for men to be a voice for the vulnerable.

Tia Marie Spath Fernandez is the owner of South Florida Drug Testing Services Inc., a business she has led since 2014. With over 12 years of experience in the drug testing industry, Tia has built a strong reputation for providing reliable and professional services. Additionally, she has been with Brandy Bail Bonds since 1985, serving as an office manager. With nearly four decades of experience in the bail bond business and over a decade in drug testing, Tia has developed a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to her community.

Tim Lonergan, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been a resident of Oakland Park since 2000, where he lives with his husband and their cat, Tiger. A dedicated public servant, Tim served on the Oakland Park City Commission from 2013 to 2020, including as Mayor in 2016 and 2018, and has held various leadership roles on local boards such as the Broward League of Cities and the Broward County Water Advisory Board. He is an advocate for public safety, quality of life initiatives, and local governance, while also staying active in volunteering, biking, and gardening.


Tom Lynch, Former Broward County District Judge
Tom Lynch is a retired judge with 32 years of judicial experience. He currently offers services in mediation, private trials, special master roles, expert witness testimony, consulting, case strategy, mock trials, jury selection, local counsel, and witness credibility assessment.

Tonja Haddad Coleman is the managing partner of Tonja Haddad, PA, specializing in civil and criminal litigation, appeals, and employment law. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University and has taught law at her alma mater since 2008. Coleman has worked in labor and employment law, contract law, and fraud litigation, and represents clients including the International Union of Police Associations. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator.

Wayne Bellando is the President and CEO of Pro Pest Control, Inc., a family-owned and operated business he has led since its founding in 1991. Initially servicing Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, the company relocated to Broward County after Hurricane Andrew. Under Wayne’s leadership, Pro Pest Control has provided professional and affordable pest control services, tailoring its programs to meet the unique needs of each client.
